Robert Spano conducts the Carnegie Hall Festival Chorus and the the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, in a performance of the Berlioz Requiem, an 1837 work that Berlioz wrote it to commemorate the 1830 revolution in France. This is a work that not only astounds with its choral writing, but also with its enhanced orchestral forces.
